With --si option, du reports the file size in kilobyte (1000x1000 octets), so
du is reporting 505 megabyte (mégaoctet in french).

As Kurt has described above client.conf has been removed since it is not
recommended for normal LAN workstations.

I've lost antialiasing. In my kcontrol fonts menu Verdana was choosen -
and it looked awful. Anyway - i fix this issue - I turn off
antialiasing, relogin, turn on, relogin and it works again. Anyway -
this kde upgrade on my box was awful.

I changed the driver from 'ati' to 'vesa' in xorg.conf and there have
been no freezes since (about one week ago). Therefore this is definitely
a bug in the ATI driver. Unfortunately vesa is only a workaround, since
there is no xv, 3D acceleration etc.

On bootup, the wrong sound card (usb device Ox46d:Ox8b2) is selected by
system and cannot be altered by system preferences. Repeated restarts
are necessary until the correct sound card (intel ich5) is selected by
the system.
