I suggest all of you stop using the 32 bit flashplayer + npviewer that
comes with Ubuntu. I suggest you download the 64 bit prerelease of
flashplayer:

Well, My ubuntu 8.10 beta, with isoimage AMD64 labeled and installed by
default, installed on my computer with AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core
Processor 4400+.
Resently Adobe released flashplay 10, and 8.10 beta is installed quite
closed to the day Adobe released it, I think there was flashplay 10 beta
I don't have any problems with (Adobe) flash player in Firefox for amd64
(Ubuntu 8.04).
You must just remove (first) all installed flash plugins and then
install Ubuntu restricted extras
or just open www.youtube.com and plugin flash (Adobe) with Firefox
Browser present.

have been having freezing, crashing, sputtering problem. *sigh*

Yeah, this happened today after updates.
It could be the addons that I've installed today as well that could of
caused this.
Going to uninstall them and see how it goes, will update you.
