using beta 2 installer, unity now appears to be working without issue.
further testing suggested when upgrading from 10.10 -> 11.04 when 11.04 is
close to release.

open /var/crash directory and see if there is a crash file containing
the name 'unity' in it, if there is can you double click it and follow
the on-screen instructions to reproduce a new bug and give the bug
number here too.
