2.6.20-14 has fixes for both lib-ata and ACPI (which might affect
docking). So, yes, please do have your laptop docked when attempting to
attach the dock drive.

HI, I should clarify that when the files above were generated, the drive
in question was not connected. (I'm in a different place.) They should
still give you any relevant chipset info, but let me know if I should
re-run them with the drive connected.
