Changing back to Incomplete, as indium, the original reporter, has not
provided the PDF that causes this crash. All other PDF issues should be
reported in separate bugs to be triaged separately.

since I cannot reproduce when I build xpdf from source.

Tried in 12.10. Still doesn't work.
Although it stays visible way longer than before, allowing me to catch a quick
glimpse of the document.
If I hit Ctrl+Z in time, I can actually read the first page!
It barfs a the pdf contents on the console, says "segfault" and quits.

with this document http://www.berenddeboer.net/tex/LaTeX2ConTeXt.pdf or
any other pdf I try to open, xpdf crashes a fraction of a second after
displaying first page.
