I found a workaround to get this working:
Install "gnome-alasmixer" from USC and start it. Set the "recording-Flag" on
"Capture".
After that the mic works fine!

Same Problem with Sony VAIO VPCEB4X1E.
On Ubuntu 11.10 the mic worket fine out of the box. Now, after the upgrade to
12.04 (64Bit) the mic doesn't show up under Input in the Sound settings.
