Hi
I have the same issue and I think you don't need logs or anything you just need
a better understandig.
It's not a bug you can see in logs or whatever. I tested it with alsamixer in a
terminal. If you klick on the Sound applet and turn the mousewheel to adjust
the volumen in alsa mixer master
