It looks like the problem with 295.40 version of Nvidia driver is confirmed
even by Nvidia: http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=MTA4ODc
I've switched back to 295.33 version, using this PPA:

and it looks stable right now. I kno
