hmc8, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
/daily-live/current/ .
Weird. I reinstalled Kernel 3.5.0-26.42, and the problem seems to have
stopped.

Reverting to kernel 3.5.0-25.39 did not fix the problem. Maybe it was
some other package installed at the same time.

This and related GPU bugs started happening with considerable frequency
two days ago when I upgraded to the 3.5.0-26.42 kernel. I do not
experience lockups, but I do get significant font rendering damage in
Firefox 19.0.2, and sometimes have to reboot.
