I have to add that with the new kernel, Firefox crashes very often, e.g. when
restoring an hibernated computer.
On the other side, Chromium is unusable, it crashes at startup.

For me 3.0.0-18-generic causes segfault to Chrome, but also Firefox ans

segfault immediately, epiphany at random intervals, movie player
intermittently either at start or a minute or two into a video, other
apps too. Can't get any app to provide more information than

Both quit either immediately or soon after launch with seg fault.
