Indeed, now I once again turned on the printer - it's working (download
firmware).
Strange, maybe I had some short-term problems with the network.
I offer my apologies for the false bug-report.
p.s. But it would be great to have a mirror for openprinting.org in case
of unforeseen problems.
For me hp-plugin (this is the program which does the download) succeeeds
to download the plugin file and to verify its signature key. Are you
connected to the internet? Does

http://www.openprinting.org/download/printdriver/auxfiles/HP/plugins/hplip-3.12.2-plugin.run
download a file for you?
