Problem solved even in alpha4 liveCD: the wireless interface (although named
eth1, not wlan0)
has now wireless extensions shown in iwconfig and connect correctly thru
network-manager to router.

It works in Feisty final installed system.
But Feisty LiveCD has still the problem.

I have the exact same problem. My working wireless in good old dapper
stopped working in feisty.

I have the same problem. I have Kubuntu 7.04 installed and eth0 works
fine (Lan cable connection), but my wifi does not work. (no wlan0)
wlan says it it connected in KNetworkManager options, but is disabled
everywhere else

I got it work in Feisty final.
On installed feisty system, there is interface called "eth1" that HAS wireless
extension and works Ok.
Only on feisty liveCD, there is interface called "wlan0" that has still problem
described in this bug.

feisty with totally non-working internet connection over their working Edgy!
