I can confirm that too. I think there is a problem between python 2.4 which uses the installed packaged for wxpython-gtk-2.8 (if u install the packages provided by the wxpython website/community by adding their server to your sources list) and python2.5 which has installed wxpyhon-gtk-2.6. I w
