This problem seemed to be fixed using a fresh Kubuntu 7.04 final
installation. However, I am now experiencing the original reporter's
symptoms on each and every login when KNetworkManager attempts to
connect to a secured network (WPA or WPA2). KWallet opens and
KNetworkManager disappears leaving
I confirm too. feisty fresh install (release version). Sometimes in a first
logging in my kde, knetworkmanager appears briefly in the systray and them
disappears (and it not connects to the wireless).
After logging again, it appears and connect.
It is ramdom. I can not say exactly one frecuency (
I'm seeing the same thing however it only happens one in every four
logins and would appreciate it resolved.

Confirming due to second response. However, I think this is due to some
buggy updates to date during the Feisty pre-release cycle. Have you
tried using a clean install system to see if this issue is still around?

I confirm. Knetwork manager almost always crashes at first login. On
subsequent logins it works though.
