In the last two or three days, emacs-snapshot-gtk has become incapable
of opening additional frames on startup, instead segfaulting. This is
on amd64 edgy.
I usually (used to) run emacs with the --load option to run these
commands to open addition frames:
(speedbar)
(make-frame '((left . 990
