I'm trying to reproduce the bug now and it doesn't crash anymore. None
of OOo's components seems to have the problem.
I'll try to reproduce the bug for a couple of days more, and report any
changes. Maybe it was a bug concerning gtk+, Xorg or the kernel, who
knows. These packages change almost eve

Strange thing that running OOo from a console does not produce the
crash, while running it by either double-clicking on a file or opening a
presentation directly from firefox causes the bug.

Could you please give a little bit more info, specifically which element
of OOo you were using at the time. I have encountered this error a
couple times with Impress but I can't reproduce it in writer for
example. Any info you could add would be very helpful.
