* Fix file overwrite error (LP: #92944):
remove /usr/lib/debian-test/tests/linux/runtest/syscalls from
the ltp-commands-test package.

The fix for this has been uploaded, but the packages seem to be pretty
broken: for instance for the commands test most of the object files
needed to properly run the tests are not installed so most of the tests
fail.

Hi,
is this still a problem for intrepid? If so, can you provide a debdiff instead
of a simple patch?
To fix hardy, you might want to take a look at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates.
unsubscribing ubuntu-universe-sponsors, as we can only sponsor debdiffs

You can't confirm the bug because you didn't installed the package that
gives the problem... XD
The binary package which suffers fromt this bug is ltp-kernel-test and
not ltp
So maybe the bug report should be modified a bit

However, I do not confirm the bug: it installed without errors on my
system with "sudo aptitude install ltp". I'm running hardy.

Thanks for your reply, but i solved it using...
sudo dpkg --force-all /var/cache/apt/archives/ltp-kernel-
test_20060918-2ubuntu3_i386.deb
The file that ltp-kernel-test is trying to overwrite `/usr/lib/debian-
test/tests/linux/runtest/syscalls', which is also in package ltp-
commands-test is exac
Look in "Bug attachments" in the menu to the left.
