upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.

The 18 month support period for Edgy Eft 6.10 has reached it's end of
life. As a result, we are closing the linux-source-2.6.17 Edgy Eft
kernel task.

I forgot to mention, mine is a Toshiba as well, Portege M400. This
problem happens when doing a suspend to RAM or closing the lid (which I
tend to do fairly often, closing the lid).

I had logs for this problem, but they were corrupt so I couldn't
retrieve them or read them. fsck deleted the log files while doing the
2-hour long fixing that essentially removed all files from the hard
drive.

This bug occurs on my Toshiba Satellite L30-134 when suspending to RAM.
Suspend to disk seem to work well.
$ uname -a
Linux sputnik 2.6.17-11-386 #2 Thu Feb 1 19:50:13 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux
(Running i386 version because sound does not work with the i686 version
of the kernel.)
