Am I interpreting you correctly as saying that
apport.hookutils.command_output() already sets LC_MESSAGES=C? And so
should not be exhibiting this problem?
Because, I am setting keep_locale in source_xorg.py, and I am using
command_output() to retrieve it. So, essentially I'm doing:
report['Jo
"LC_MESSAGES=C jockey-text -l" should provide that.
apport.hookutils.command_output() already does that, unless you set
keep_locale=True. Is that sufficient for your needs?
