For benefit of others googling for answers, symptoms are like so:
vpnc establishes connection just fine. It looks like it is up. However I ssh
into a server, and type ls,
and the ssh session hangs/dies there.This should say something like vpnc
hangs on large transfers after connection is e

A workaround is to use a networkmanager-dispatcher script. I've attached
mine which seems to work.

I need this option, too.
You may set the MTU value in /etc/vpnc/vpnc-script line 115, but this
seems to not effect the network-manager-vpnc.
