The boot log is /var/log/boot right?
My latest boot log is of Feb 13. How can I enable boot logging again?

Hi Jaap. Please can you boot with '(recovery mode)' with the latest
Feisty updates as of today (there is a new 'linux-image' package). If
the boot stops with with text on the screen, please can you take a
digital photo of the screen.
Could you also attach the output from:
lspci -vv

The culprit seems to be evms. During text boot I saw that that took
around 10 seconds to complete. After removing the evms package, the
bootsplash is OK.

I'm running feisty with the latest packages.
When it goes to text mode it just did or is doing (it's going so fast I can't
really tell) Enterprise Volume Management
When or how does usplash get triggered to stop?

Also, at what point are you thrown into text mode? What is being done at
