Hi,
I'm the current maintainer of the debian package which is stalled by
wxWidgets. I plan to upload upstream (see www.pgadmin.org) an unofficial
package for ubuntu dapper and gutsy this WE. After what I'll concentrate
my efforts into uploading a more proper and up to date package into
universe.
FYI - the latest stable version is now 1.8.0.

1.6.3 is the latest 'stable' version and 1.8.0 is approaching at its
beta2 stage.
It would be great if any version newer than 1.4.* could be included
gutsy.
Please note that the author has prepared debs for dapper and feisty.

pgadmin3 1.6.x isn't in debian beacause depends on
wxWidgets >= 2.7.x., this package is in ubuntu, so why not?

I also like to see this in Feisty. There are several tools for MySQL, but only
one real good GUI tool for PostgreSQL (this one), so it would be nice, if this
is up to date.
Also on the pgadmin website there are binaries for nearly all major
distributions, but not for ubuntu. And it is not really
