I can confirm that this still exists on the the DM1 running Ubuntu
13.10. However, the odd thing is that I do not have this issue when
running the Ubuntu Gnome edition. It would seem that something in the
Unity base is contributing to this bug.

Iain Buclaw, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release
of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com
/daily-live/cur
I can confirm is fixed in upstream kernel v3.2-rc2... just a shame about
the missing bcm wireless and fglrx drivers. ;-)

Out of my own curiosity, what is usually the driver/module that controls

Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? It
will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . If possible, please test
the latest v3.2-rcN kernel (Not a kernel in the daily directory). Once
