I can confirm that this error is still present in Hardy Heron Alpha 6. Bizarrely the network does not behave similarly when e.g. Amarok downloads podcasts etc., so either my ISP (Tiscali) has a policy restriction on the ubuntu repositories or the apt-get suite behaves oddly... Please let me know a
