There is nothing we can do about bad media and since creating a DVD
resolved the issue for you it seems to have been bad media.
Subsequently, I am closing the bug task.

seems that there is a problem with your installation media (CD/DVD).
Please retry your installation with new media and if it still fails I'd
recommend testing
