Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Examining the information you have given us, this does
not appear to be a bug report so we are closing it and converting it to
a question in the support tracker. We appreciate the difficulties you
are facing, but
I apologize, I thought you were attempting to upgrade Ubuntu, that
explains why /var/log/dist-upgrade is empty. I'll remove the incomplete
status and let someone more knowledgeable about downgrading firefox help
you out, as I've never attempted that myself. If you could please amend
the bug descrip
/var/log/dist-upgrade is empty.
Before I got this bug I was downgrading ff from 7 to 3.6. I followed an
instruction for 11.04. I think it is because I mixed up versions of Ubuntu. The
instruction is:
Step 1: Edit your software sources to add Maverick
Open your sources.list file:
sudo gedit /etc
Thanks for your bug report. Could you please attach the files in
/var/log/dist-upgrade to this report? They will aid in diagnosing the
problem.
