cannot switch user, lightdm seems to freeze
To man
Maybe I've the same bug, when I switch often between 2 users, randomly,
the screen goes black (standby) and Ubuntu it's totaly freezed!

Same problem. Very anoying. Attached is my lightdm.log
A workaround is:
- when login is frozen (one can switch selected user with arrows up and down,
but can not type or login as any)
- hit ctrl + alt + F7 to get back to user1's session. then switch user from
there.

Same problem here as well. Found a temp solution in using GDM. Though
Lightdm is much more visually appealing. Hope it gets fixed soon!

I have a similar problem on 12.04 beta.
Logging out, and then at the login screen, selecting "ubuntu 2D" results in it
getting stuck, just showing "logging in ...", but nothing happening. This does
not happen if I select "ubuntu 2D" on the first login after boot, or if I
select just "ubuntu" on
