... so now it has come through the pipeline and is working. Tricky
upgrade though which doesn't seem possible with the gui at the moment.
Upgrade works fine from the cli. Now Ekiga rocks again!

Are you able to test if this problem occurs with ekiga in gutsy? The
gutsy release contains a new ekiga which fixes a lot of problems.

i am going to reinstall as well
is a pity, since i have alot of customization done..
but i found alot of other problems with my current fresh install:
gnome-schedule doesn-t start with root privileges
update-manager shows the icon but doesnt start anymore
ekiga doesnt start
from time to time the sy
Sorry, can't say, I've reinstalled the whole OS since and don't suffer
currently from the problem.

with the lastest feisty kernel ekiga stopped loading on one of my machine
starting it by terminal results only a hang terminal
on another machine instead no problems..
i-ve been not able to solve the problem even by deleting .gconf.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. I have been unable to reproduce using the same version of ekiga
on a 64 bit system. Are you using a 64 bit or 32 bit system? Thanks in
