Failed to install gloobus-sushi gloobu
I took your advice and installed libgdk-pixbuf2.0-dev and re-installed
gloobus-sushi. It installed without any errors. I agree that the current setup
has to be missing a dependency.

I had the same problem. A temp fix for this: I had to install the
package libgdk-pixbuf2.0-dev manually (i.e. via synaptic). After the
installation I had to reinstall the package gloobus-sushi again and now
it works perfectly. Seems to be a missing dependency.
