Try commenting the Horizsync and Vertrefresh lines, and see if the
driver get's the resolution right? If not, try Hardy alpha2 livecd.

The refresh rates currently supported by Fedora and Ubuntu are
incorrect!
Just do a google search for your monitor, get the correct rates,
and then use these rates instead...
That's what I did and it works fine.
