gnome classic: System menu missing

"Gnome 3 Fallback" would be more accurate. There is no longer a system
menu. Many of the launchers that used to be in System are now in
Applications->Other which took me a while to find.

The reason might be that the "gnome classic" session is not "classic" at
all, but based on gnome 3.0, which seems to put some of these system
settings to other places in the menu.
However, calling this "gnome classic" is absolutely misleading, since it
is quite new and different.
