I think that this is more than just a cosmetic issue. Having one icon
used for the document folder (and only that folder) is certainly better
usability. It helps users navigate file selection dialogs, konqueror,
dolphin, etc.

I am going to close this as it will not be fixed prior to the KDE
release. This is what is considered a "Wishlist Bug." You were right in
reporting it here, however with the Oxygen Icon Them in our future, that
is when this will be implemented, and it will be implemented by KDE.

I would not go so far as to say that launchpad is not to be used for
cosmetic issues. Any issues which are actual bugs, whether cosmetic or
technical are certainly welcome. Wishes are welcome too - just don't get
expect all wishes to be "fixed"

also think that tdn meant that HE (and not the bug) was serious, when he

I personally don't think it is serious, but it is something that would
be nice. I use the icon 'folder-man' for my Documents folder I created,
it is a blue open folder with white "paper" in it and it fits nicely in
the way I have my folders set up, my photo folder for example is the
blue icon with
