I have tried to reproduce this bug using the same ISO image, both during
the LiveCD session and with the system installed. I can't get it to

Well, I tried to reproduce this on the live desktop again and all seemed
fine so I don't know what happened the first time.
Unless someone else reports the same issue I think it's safe to consider
this a fluke, and mark this invalid.
This particular hardware boots to unity-2D by default (P4M800 g
Post-installation banshee seems to work fine with the examples, so this
only effected the live desktop. I'll reboot the live CD and see if I can
reproduce this.
