It works on my Lenovo 3000 N100 type 0768-BJG , with all kernels (e.g
2.6.24-X-generic) after upgrading to Hardy.
It also worked using Gutsy with the 2.6.24-X-generic series kernels, except
for the wireless network card which didn't work after resuming from suspend.

I installed the Hardy kernel () while still running Gutsy as suggested
by Rune Evjen on 2008-01-10. This did NOT solve the problem - my laptop
(Lenovo 3000 N100 0768-6XG) still does not resume from suspend. The hard

thank you for your tip regarding the touchpad.
Regarding my last post, my wireless network card is still detected and
modules are loaded for it after resume, but KNetworkManager does not see
the network interface. I have only upgraded the kernel, haven't upgraded
to hardy as it seems myth
And yes, the touchpad issue is easily solved by adding i8042.reset as a
kernel booting option. I reckon the advice to upgrade to 8.04, even
though it is still alpha, should be seriously considered by all the
"happy" 3000 N100 owners.

After today's update of linux-restricted-modules in Hardy the wireless
functionality is available again. Even more pleasant is the fact that

On gutsy this problem seems to be linked to the mouse cursor. I recently
changed my settings but ended up with the default X cursor (Artwiz in my
case) and this seems to have fixed the problem. for me any way.
