I think the same and i have the same situation. It is common to have
mldonkey-server in the server and it is not necessary for one laptop for
example.
this dependency is absurd and there is no it in debian for example.

Take for example mldonkey-gui, it doesn't depend on mldonkey-server but
suggests it. Also, the Debian package is not dependant on mldonkey-
server either.
