I've installed Mint on my laptop a few months ago, so I'm not really
capable of testing it out. Mint didn't have the issue, which makes sense
since it doesn't use Unity.
It is a long time ago and I'd mostly forgotten about this issue. I guess
you can just let this one go, if there are no other bug
And, as per the previous comment: Martin, is this still happening for
you in 12.04?

The function receive_signal() no longer exists in indicator-power.c, so
it's likely that this issue is fixed. Without more information on how to
reproduce this crash, though, I'm not sure how to confirm this
suspicion.
