Unity is Fix Released. That suggest Ayatana-design must be the same.
Unity 2D might go from Won't Fix to Confirmed, then.

I want to note again that this should be marked Fix Released, for Unity
and Unity(Ubuntu), because this is the Launcher's behavior now.
For Unity 2D, the status might be revisited, if it should follow 3D.
But that's a guess; the above is an implemented fact. :)

As of the present Unity 5 series, the 3D Launcher now *does* act as
requested . Obv. it wasn't discussed here! :) I don't have the
privileges to mark this fixed, but it's perhaps not quite settled yet,
anyway.
Unity 2D, in my testing, does not roll the focus over, as 3D now does.
