I use Ubuntu Feisty and the de_DE.UTF-8 locale. Copying to gedit works
fine.
Also, when copying some test to Gaim, it creates some spaces in the chat
window
When I copy "hölla das ist ein tüst" (:-P) Gaim's chat window looks like
that:

hölla das ist ein tüst "
