Unable to setup Ubuntu One sync with Tomboy

I have done a fresh install with the daily build from today and it fails
to sync after 9 notes. The switch from https://one.ubuntu.com/notes/ to
https://edge.one.ubuntu.com/notes/ seems to be more of an issue of
making a change in the box to allow saving (see #16 from
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubu

What fixed it for me was in "tomboy preferences" -> "Synchronization"
changing the server from https://one.ubuntu.com/notes/ to
https://edge.one.ubuntu.com/notes/

I have the same problem, screen shows that "Authorization Successful",
but I still can press "save" button.

There is an obvious work-around for this, which is to follow the
instructions for 10.10 and sync via "Tomboy Web" to the URL
https://one.ubuntu.com/notes/
Unfortunately, that also doesn't work and after connecting with U1 the
preferences aren't saved.
This was also reported in Bug #846888:

When choosing to sync via Ubuntu One, it says "Already Registered" and
when selecting Tomboy Web I will then "Connect to Server" then it will
authorize on the web in Firefox. Ubuntu One on the web asks me to "add a
computer" to my U1 account. I do so and the message in Firefox says

I have this same issue, too. Tomboy was doing fine when I was using the
11.10 Alpha, but I've just installed the Beta 1 and now it won't sync
(nor can I press the 'save' button after authorizing) as in the previous
user. I ran the 'tomboy --debug' as someone suggested elsewhere and this
