Bug is still present
For me, it mostly happen's when playing ANY video with adobe flash plugin, but
also with many other diffrent types flash content.

I've done a search in the forums... they say flash 8 is not affected
by this. do you have a package of flash 8 to test?

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any bug tracking system from Adobe. I
tried searching for it, but I just can't find it. It'll be great if
Launchpad could interact with their tracker, this way, it'll be easier
for us to contact Adobe devs. For now, I think we can only report it on
their User Forum a
I know that the plugin is closed source, but can't we contact the
adobe developers to improve the performance of their package?
I've tried gnash, but the performance is even worse 100% of cpu
instead of 50% :)

Ok, I asked at IRC and Googled this out. Here's a few response I got:
There is no way we can optimize Flash Player for the following reasons:
- Flash Player is a proprietary product of Adobe, it is closed source and only
Adobe developers can view and modify the code
- flashplugin-nonfree is jus
Yeah, I guess you're right. I'm attaching a screencap showing that
firefox on Asus.com does hog cpu cycles. I'll talk to a few devs
regarding this and will give updates when available.
