This is what I get on feisty & vmware-player, running Feisty in the
virtual machine:
/dev/dsp: Device or resource busy.
Failed to connect virtual device sound
Here are my sound lines in .vmx:
sound.autodetect = "TRUE"
sound.startConnected = "FALSE"
sound.virtualDev = "sb16"
sound.fileName = "-1"
Are you sure esd isn't running in the background, hogging /dev/dsp?
