This appears to be identical to bug 120347, correct?
I would have to assume in this case that the messages you find in your kernel
log are not related to this problem at all, because in 120347, no messages were
found.

Doesn't seem to be running, so I can't disable it. Also, the symptoms in bug
109643 are different:
* I get syslog messages, they don't.
* My mouse pointer still works, theirs doesn't.
* My screen looks

think.
