I was running a batch process on my computer (converting file formats and
rendering pngs) when the following happened:
1. The mouse started lagging
2. Panels, menus, workspace switching, etc. stopped working
3. I logged in to a text terminal (Ctrl-Alt-F1) and killed the batch script and
the rend

- Ubuntu 11.04 running on a Fujitsu Lifebook T901 occasionally crashes at
- random points in time. The image remains on the screen, but the keyboard
- and mouse stop working, the fans turn off, and the hard drive stops
- spinning.
