Thanks for your bug report. I have tracked this down to gnumeric
improperly modifying your /etc/mailcap file. In line 125 there should
be a semicolon after "x-sc" (should be "x-sc;") and 126 should be
combined with 125. I am working on getting the gn
In the menu, the command line is /usr/bin/btdownloadgui and in the
browser too. Should it be that way?

Which interface to bittornado are you using? I tried
btdownloadcurses.bittornado and didn't see any error messages.
