Ah and log-out and in again to see the changes. Notes : - It took me two tries to get this working (on the first try it reverted the default key-binding (Alt+F2) in gconf), and so, has no effect that time. Maybe that's a mistake I did, but in the case it happens to some other people, one mig

I used to use Alt-F2 to bring up a terminal on the screen. I've set "Alt+F2" as the shortcut for "Launch Terminal" in [System settings > Keyboard > Shortcuts > Launchers] (/apps/metacity/global_keybindings/run_command_terminal in gconf), and it works, but it spawns below the dash home... Workaroun

I can confirm that this happens with Oneiric daily ISO. Steps: start dash, go to keyboard settings, select shortcuts, select "move to workspace 2", map it to alt-f2. Pressing alt-f2 moves to workspace 2 and also brings up the run dialod. ** Changed in: unity Status: New => Confirmed -- Y
