Unfortunately the bug stills there in Ubuntu 11.10. The integration of
Cellwriter (which, in my opinion, is basic for touchscreens) is poorly
supported in Unity 3D.

Same for unity2d in oneric. I don't know that much about it but I think
that unity isn't the same as gnome, so I suspect that the cell writer
icon works as a gnome panel icon and unity doesn't support these things.
It'd be nice if it did though.
