external monitor and I wasn't using an external monitor when I used

the invalid is because that's a duplicate but I don't want to spend time
looking for numbers, I don't decline the fix if somebody wants to add a
lucid component to the fix released bug and work on fixing it for lucid
that's fine, I was just pointing that it's not as trivial as backporting
a fix fro

thank you for your bug report but as you pointed the bug was already
filed so there is no need to have an extra one registered, the issue is
fixed in GNOME3 by lot of rewrites of the gnome-panel code which can't
be applied to old versions like lucid
