could somebody replicate this problem on Natty or Oneiric? That works
fine here, also please try the same with a new user since it might be
that the configuration on your account is broken thus it doesn't work.
Thanks in advance.

My previous 'confirmation' was wrong.
I can not duplicate this error in Ubuntu 11.04. It's occurring in another
distro based on Ubuntu 11.04. They may have messed
up when taking Unity out.

I confirm this bug appears in 11.04 , amd64.
Easy to view, open gedit, go to Help/Contents.
Rumor in the user forums says that there is a yelp 2.30.2 available for x386
systems that fixes the problem, but I have the 64 bit Ubuntu.

help I get the following 'detailed' error:
So
could you please try the same on Natty? Thanks.

I get the same message:
'Could not display help
The specified location is not supported'
when I uninstall yelp.
So it is like yelp is not installed at all. Only the default Ubuntu Help
Center works without flaw.
