being fixed in 2.5. I've run a test of Asunder 2.7 on Ubuntu 14.04 using
the PPA at https://launchpad.net/~mc3man/+archive/ubuntu/cdda1 - this
seems to genuinely have fixed this bug.

I have had this problem for years; it's still a problem on the latest
asunder (2.2-1) on raring. I'm also running in XFCE. I'll attach a gdb
stacktrace of when asunder is stuck.
