Obviously in January 2007 xmms was still a real package. However, yes, as of 8.04 I see that xmms (base) was removed. There are still a bunch of defunct xmms packages in the tree however. Which is nice for those of us who got xmms and installed it from source. -- keyboard shortcuts and signals
